Focus Groups
Friday and Saturday mornings are devoted to small individual groups gathered to delve into a single topic or simply to have fun and enjoy some creative time.

Improv is a fun and playful way to get out of our heads and into the moment. All ages are welcome, bold and shy, as we come together to create something new and unexpected. We’ll combine acting and getting silly so we can make Baba laugh.
Location: Alexander (A-frame)
This yoga practice will be simple and centering. Feel free to use a chair if you want. The aim is to be physically comfortable and mentally present in order to enjoy more completely the time we spend with Baba and each other in our lives. Please bring a mat if possible.

Meher Baba forged the New Life over 75 years ago with His own Being as a “seeker of God,” laying aside his Divine prerogatives. Meher Baba said: “This New Life will live by itself eternally, even is there is none to live it.” This group will focus on the New Life that Meher Baba lived with His companions, that we might find together some inspiration to live our lives more fully for our Beloved Meher Baba.

Have you ever pondered the question, what is Truth? Alta Burnett has pondered the question many times. Come, join her in her search for answers as she initially shares a few ideas and then opens the session for group discussion and sharing.

Learn to sing 2 or 3 of the beautiful ghazals written by Meher Baba Himself. There will be an additional practice session on Saturday (TBD) in preparation for sharing the ghazals at the Sunday morning Talent Show.

Angela will provide BW designs for buttons that you will color with provided pencils/ markers/crayons. Then they will be cut and made into buttons on the spot!
Max 2 per person, but unlimited bookmarks can be colored and laminated also!

Gather together for sharing your very special/wonderful/and even wild! experiences of pilgrimage to Meherabad and Meherazad. How they have opened you up, surprised you, broken your heart open… or even blown your mind.

Interplay is a powerful way to explore who we are and to share that in a supportive environment. InterPlay is an active, creative way to unlock the wisdom of the body. Our group will play with stories, voices and movement about our connection with Baba.
Come create for Baba and each other . . . and especially to have fun together!

Learn the Taal System, how to count and learn the Bols (strokes) that make up the Talls in different time signatures. The practice of TALI-KALI. Tali (clap) and the Kali (wave) while learning to count the beats. Made easy for anyone to learn.

We will begin with reading Meher Baba’s Final Declaration as a group. We will then discuss its meaning and relevance, along with discussion of passages from Avatar of the Age Meher Baba Manifesting relating to the Declaration.

Expressing and Listening as a Means of Connecting” is an experiential/interactive group for practicing deep listening and for the practice of expressing what really matters. It is an invitation to go beyond our sometimes superficial ways of relating . . . to real connection.

Angela will lead Eastern and Western songs that use Meher Baba as the whole song or as the chorus, songs you already know and love! You will not believe the high we will feel after an hour of singing His Name!

Come for much creative fun! Rocks, paints, and markers provided. (Feel free to bring your own rock. The stream is full of great rocks!). Expect extraordinary results!
